La Casa dei Tuoi Sogni — an authentic stay in Salento
A historic home between the Baroque beauty of Nardò and the clear waters of the Ionian coast.
History, light and stillness
La Casa dei Tuoi Sogni brings together the restrained elegance of Salento’s Baroque architecture and the ease of contemporary living.
Set at ground level on a quiet street at the edge of Nardò’s historic centre, the property unfolds as a generous open-plan retreat. Original star-vaulted ceilings, exposed stone and patterned cement tiles sit naturally alongside white walls, seamless resin flooring and carefully chosen modern furnishings.
A sensitive restoration allows the building’s original character to take centre stage, while light reflected from the inner courtyards draws attention to the scale and beauty of the vaulted ceilings.

An old house, made for modern living
The minimalist kitchen, with its peninsula and sintered-stone worktop, creates a confident but understated contrast with the historic interior.
Character without clutter
Original details and contemporary comfort sit naturally together, giving the architecture room to breathe.

The historic centre, one street at a time
Not just one square, but a network of churches, palazzi, courtyards and lanes made for slow wandering.
Piazza Salandra is the theatrical heart of the city, but Nardò continues through the streets leading to San Domenico, the Cathedral, Castello Acquaviva and the distinctive Osanna temple.
From the house, the historic centre is only a few minutes away on foot: ideal for a morning stroll, dinner in the old streets or an evening aperitivo, while still keeping the convenience of nearby parking.

Mediterranean pine woods and clear Ionian water
In around ten minutes by car you can reach beaches, transparent coves and the protected landscape of Porto Selvaggio. If you prefer a slower pace, the coast is also around twenty-five minutes away by bicycle.
A stay here brings history, culture and relaxation together: the old town in the morning, a swim in the Ionian Sea in the afternoon and an aperitivo in the squares in the evening.
